Your photo stays on your device.

Your source photo is decoded and converted into a crochet chart in your browser. We do not intentionally upload the photo, its pixels, the generated chart, palette values, written instructions, or exported files to our servers or analytics system.

To restore your work, the current project may be saved in your browser’s IndexedDB storage. Exported PDF and PNG files are created on your device. Starting over removes the saved project from the app; clearing this site’s browser data also removes locally stored projects and preferences.

We use a self-hosted OpenPanel analytics service at analytics.coloringdaily.com to understand whether the tool works and where it needs improvement. Analytics may include:

• the page path, page title, referrer, and visit timing;
• browser, operating system, device type, and approximate region;
• product events such as image selection, generation success or failure, selected method, grid dimensions, color count, workload level, and export type; and
• an optional satisfaction rating and any short comment you choose to send after an export.

Image-selection analytics contain only the input method, file type, and a broad file-size bucket—not the file name or image content. We do not use OpenPanel session replay, automatic click tracking, advertising profiles, or cross-site tracking.

OpenPanel processes the request IP address and user agent to derive approximate location and a device identifier that resets daily. Its documented design discards the raw IP address after that processing. We do not identify analytics events with an account, name, or email address, and our analytics setup does not use tracking cookies.

The OpenPanel browser library and analytics API are both served from our self-hosted analytics.coloringdaily.com environment. Like other web resources, requests to that environment include standard connection data such as your IP address and user agent.

We use limited analytics and feedback to:

• operate, secure, debug, and improve the tool;
• measure whether pattern generation and exports succeed; and
• understand which settings and product areas are useful.

Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving a free product for this limited analytics processing. Optional feedback is processed when you choose to submit it. We do not sell this information or use it for targeted advertising.

Vercel hosts the website and may process standard network and security logs. We use OpenPanel’s open-source software, and its browser library and event database are operated in our self-hosted analytics environment. Infrastructure providers may process information in the countries where they operate, subject to their service terms and safeguards.

Browser-saved projects remain on your device until you start over or clear this site’s data. The feedback preference remains until local site data is cleared. We retain analytics events only for as long as reasonably needed to understand product performance, investigate failures, maintain security, and meet legal obligations, then delete or aggregate them.

• You can skip or dismiss the optional feedback prompt.
• You can block analytics requests using browser privacy controls or a content blocker; the core pattern tool should continue to work.
• You can clear this site’s browser data to remove locally saved projects and preferences.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
